How To Keep People Connected Remotely
I didn’t realize it would prepare us for a world pandemic when, in 2008, one of our top people decided to leave our office to go work out of Texas.⠀
⠀
At that point, we had to figure out how to have this intricate orchestra of in-office systems and make them remote.⠀
⠀
What worked for us, to keep people connected, share files, and track things in our systems, was Microsoft Teams.⠀
⠀
We also MASTERED the monthly remote meetings.⠀
⠀
Everyone sees each other, they’re exciting, they’re fun.⠀
⠀
Everyone’s sharing information, we’re celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.⠀
⠀
We have weekly meetings for every team to stay consistently clear, accountable, and get help if they’re stuck somewhere.⠀
⠀
It’s up to us as leaders to make sure we implement this over and OVER again to accelerate what it is we’re working on.⠀
⠀
Where do YOU need to up your game in your weekly meetings right now?⠀
⠀
How are you going to energize your teams?⠀
