It Must Come From You

Who has access to you?

Is it your spouse…or your parents, somebody has to be able to…or have permission to speak into your life. If not, you will constantly be listening to your inner voice which is good but also may not be tough on you when you need to hear the critical feedback…or individuals who don’t have good intentions for your life.

I am constantly asking myself…”Am i getting the right feedback from the right person at the right time…?” This is a powerful question because the info…. the guidance… the frame… becomes the fuel makes the vehicle of my life work at incredible high levels, the WRONG fuel can cause undesirable mechanical issues that could take years and $Million’s of dollars to fix!

In the same way you want to put premium or high quality gas in your vehicle…your goal should be to ALSO put premium information, strategies, and energy into your life both personally and in business.

This is the only way you are going to take your life to the next level.

What does this mean? It means that you must be poured into and also pour into the lives of others. Those who are surrounding you should become your community of GREAT people. They should help to nurture and encourage you, towards the attainment of the best version of yourself.

If there is no intentionality in your life then you are not going to appropriately sharpen your saw. Those who are speaking into your life…who you give permission to share information with you, should be those who have matured and gained experience in some of the areas that you are seeking to grow in…

If Elon Musk, Bill Gates, or a well-known business person launched a new company and you were offered the opportunity would you consider investing in their company (2)?

Of course you would it is the nature of the personal branding that they have established over the course of time.

One of the reasons that it is important to focus on goals is because you can only operate at an optimal level when you focus on key performance indicators.

  1. One key performance indicator is health and wellness: If you don’t spend time investing in your health which means eating habits, and fitness goals, then your energy and overall health will be inadequate to help you reach your goal (2).

  2. Another key performance indicator is time management:  Can you visualize the day before it begins? If there is no clear itinerary then you won’t be able to properly adapt to the situations or curveballs that life presents you with…not to mention the added stress on your life (2).

  3. Continuing Education is also a key indicator as you gain added insight, strategies, and deeper understanding regarding a topic of interest when your study. Make sure that your studying is focused on areas that deal with day-to-day operations of your business. This way you know how to respond when making critical, sometimes life altering decisions (2).
