Results come when you take action.

The greater the vision, the greater the amount of time and effort that it will take to get there. It is easy to get discouraged when we don’t see immediate results, but in resilience is where the gift lays.

This topic made me think of a well-known story called “3 Feet From Gold” which you can find in the book “Think And Grow Rich" written by Napoleon Hill. This is the story of R.U. Harby during the Gold Rush.

Harby and his uncle found a gold mine and were digging and digging for a while. They were so eager and excited when the project started. However, their hopefulness died little by little until frustration started to kick in. Then, they decided to give up on the project.

They chose to QUIT.

A junk man came afterward to the mine, called a mining engineer who estimated that Harby and his uncle were only 3 Feet Away from finding the Gold. Literally, they could have made millions if they just kept digging for 3 more Feet!

The lesson from this story is the following: if you want to reach your goal, stay loyal to your vision and persistent with your actions in spite of adversity. “Think and Grow Rich” is a must-read. Entrepreneur or not, this book is a well-recognized source of wisdom.

Remember, any roadblock is an opportunity to develop our endurance and to honor our commitment to the bigger picture. So don’t get discouraged by the obstacles that may be in your way. Choose to face adversity. Even if you take small steps, keep moving forward. Some action is better than no action at all. Once you decide to move forward, everything around you aligns for you to move on.

It all starts with a decision. A decision of staying, not fleeing.

Keep moving forward, you might be right now, literally, only 3 Feet Away from Gold!

Don’t quit!
